Clear expectations before the work begins.

Service requests
Submitting a website form, chat, call or text creates a request for review; it does not by itself guarantee an appointment, price or repair. Eric Pan reviews the available information and may require an on-site diagnosis before confirming the cause, repair scope or final price.
Scheduling
An appointment is confirmed only after a specific time is accepted in the private work-order page or confirmed by HomeGuard. If you request a change, the existing appointment remains in place until a replacement time is confirmed. You may cancel through the private page or by contacting HomeGuard.
Pricing and payment
Current diagnostic visit pricing is $120 in the covered service areas, or $150 in Manhattan. Staten Island is not in our service area. For the same fault on the same work order, the diagnostic fee already paid is fully credited toward the repair total. For example, a $600 repair total with $120 already paid leaves $480 to pay. Previously accepted written quotes retain their agreed terms. Additional labor, parts, parking, permits or other costs require customer approval. Accepted payment methods are cash, check and Zelle.
Text-message program
By checking the optional consent box, you authorize HomeGuard HVAC & Boiler to send transactional texts about that specific request, including receipt, estimate, scheduling, changes, reminders, completion documents (invoices and service/warranty records), and aftercare updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can submit and manage a request without text consent through your private work-order page, or call (646) 721-8999 for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Safety and emergencies
The website, chat and text service are not emergency dispatch systems. If you smell gas, see fire or smoke, suspect carbon monoxide or face immediate danger, leave the area and contact 911 or the appropriate utility.
Photos and access
Only upload photos you are authorized to share. Photograph equipment from a safe distance; do not open panels or touch electrical, gas, refrigerant or hot components. You are responsible for providing lawful, safe access to the service location.
Warranty and responsibility
Any warranty, parts coverage or limitations that apply to a repair will be stated in the written estimate or invoice. To the extent allowed by law, HomeGuard is not responsible for delays outside its reasonable control or for undisclosed pre-existing conditions.
